UWS men's & women's basketball suffer losses to UW-Eau Claire

On Wednesday both the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s and women’s basketball teams dropped their home games against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The UWS men’s team suffered a 67-48 loss to the Blugolds. J’Vaun Walker led the Yellowjackets with 14 points. UWS falls to 6-4 and is off until December 29 when they battle Dubuque in the Nicolet National Bank Holiday Tournament in De Pere, Wisconsin.

The UWS women fell 54-32 to Eau Claire. They were led by Elise Besonen with a game-high 15 points. The Yellowjackets now sit 5-5. Next they tip-off Saturday at 1 p.m. visiting the College of St. Scholastica.
