UWS men's, women's basketball handle Martin Luther.
Both UWS basketball teams won on Saturday, as the men’s team beat Martin Luther 72-51, and the women’s team beat Martin Luther 83-58.
On the men’s side, three Yellowjackets scored in double figures, including J’Vaun Walker who continues his impressive campaign, as he poured in 19 points, shooting 58% from the field.
UWS shot 38% from three point range on Saturday, a key component in their dominant win.
They’re back in action on Monday against Marian.
On the women’s side, Erika Mattson continued her weekend hot streak, scoring 18 points for the second time in as many games.
Similar to the men, the women’s team did damage from behind the arc, shooting 60%.
UWS returns to the court next Saturday against Northland College.
