UWS Men’s soccer receives two Player of the Week awards

UWS Men’s soccer received two Player of the Week awards due to their outstanding play this past weekend.
Nicolai Stokker took home the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week after a breakout week. The Senior from Norway tallied three assists and two goals, one of those being his first of the season.
His teammate, Josh Bellamy, took home the Defensive Player of the Week award. Bellamy is a key member of the Yellowjacket’s backline which didn’t allow a goal in three games this weekend. Bellamy also scored six goals this weekend and still received the award for his defensive play.
The Yellowjackets are back in action on Wednesday against Northwestern.
