On Thursday the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team released their 2022-2023 schedule.

The Bulldogs will drop the puck on their 24th season, and Maura Crowell’s eighth as head coach, September 24 when they visit Long Island Univeristy for a two game series. It will mark the two programs first-ever meeting.

UMD’s home and Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) conference opener is October 7-8 against Minnesota State University, Mankato. Then they’ll head to Ohio State University Oct. 21-22 for a rematch of the 2021 NCAA title game where the Buckeyes came out on top.

WCHA playoffs begin February 24. The Frozen Four, this year hosted at Duluth’s AMSOIL Arena, is set for March 17 and 19. For their full schedule, Click Here.
