UMD softball fall short of NSIC title against Augustana

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) softball team were unable to collect a win in Sundays double header falling to Augustana University 17-4 and 16-11.
With the two wins the Vikings were crowned NSIC regular season champions.
It would have been the first time UMD were NSIC champs since they won the conference back in 2013 when they were Co-Champs with Minnesota State.
Next up for the Bulldogs is the NSIC Tournament in Rochester Minnesota, beginning this Wednesday.
