UMD men’s hockey falls in game one of NCHC Playoffs against St. Cloud

The No.5 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team dropped game one of their first round NCHC playoff series 3-1 against No.4 St. Cloud State.

Josh Luedtke opened the scoring for the Huskies in the first period.

In the second period it was the Bulldogs powerplay that went to work, as Dominic James came through tying the game at 1-1.

With under two minutes left in the second period the Huskies regained the lead with a goal from Micah Miller.

Game two of the series will be played Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in St. Cloud.
