Saints volleyball can’t hold off Gustavus in regular season home finale

Gustavus Adolphus College proved to be too much for the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) volleyball team Friday as they fell 3-0 in their regular season home finale.
The Saints stayed close losing by fewer than five points a set (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) to now sit 11-11 overall on the season and 4-6 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play.
Jessica Remer led CSS with 10 kills and Katie Brostrom led in digs with eight.
They close out their regular season Saturday visiting Augsburg University at 7 p.m.
