Port Wing’s Megan Gustafson signs with defending WNBA champs Las Vegas

On Thursday, the pride of Port Wing, Wisconsin’s own Megan Gustafson signed a two-year deal with defending back-to-back WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces.

The Aces scooped up South Shore High School’s all-time leading scorer on the first day of free agency.

The 6’3” center has spent five years in the WNBA with stints in Dallas, Washington, and most recently Phoenix. Last year with the Mercury she had career highs in minutes per game, rebounds, and points averaging 7.9.

Gustafson just won the Betty Codona Trophy Final with her London Lions of the Women’s British Basketball League January 28.
