Friday night marked the fourth and final game of the Duluth Huskies’ early July series with the St. Cloud Rox falling 4-3 on the road Thursday night.
Huskies need a win to split the series, trailing the Rox two games to one.
The Rox got on the board first in the second inning as Kyle Jackson snagged a solo home run.
Huskies would tie the game up in the bottom of the second with loaded bases and Brandon Compton gets hit on a 3-2 count sending Raymond Velazquez home to tie it at one.
Duluth took the lead a few innings later after a run by Joshua Duarte, however; in the fourth, Rox’s Anthony Mata tied the game back up at two a piece.
In the end, the Huskies fall 6-4. They’re back home Saturday night hosting the Minnesota Mud Puppies at 6:35 pm.
