Girls prep hockey section seedings released

Sunday the girls high school hockey section seedings were released.
In Wisconsin, Superior earned the one seed in Section 1 and has a first round bye. Hayward is the three seed and hosts Medford Thursday February 16.
In Minnesota action Proctor/Hermantown has earned the one seed and the bye in Section 7A.
No. 4 Cloquet-Esko-Carlton hosts No. 5 Rock Ridge in a quarterfinal Tuesday
Third seeded Moose Lake Area will host sixth seeded Hibbing/Chisholm, while seventh seeded North Shore will visit second seeded Duluth Marshall also on Tuesday.
In Section 7AA, Grand Rapids/Greenway earned the third seed and will host sixth seeded Forest Lake in the quarterfinals Thursday.
Duluth, with the fourth seed, will host fifth seeded Elk/River Zimmerman Thursday.
All games are slated for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop, except for Moose Lake vs. Hibbing which is set for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
