#5 St. Croix Falls upsets #2 Northwestern in Round 3 of state playoffs
#5 St. Croix Falls did the unthinkable on Friday night, as they stormed into Northwestern and beat the Tigers.
#5 St. Croix Falls did something that only one other team had done this season, and that was beat two seeded Northwestern, 46-18.
The game was a back and forth battle for the first quarter or so, as the Tigers and Saints were neck and neck, trading touchdowns.
Eventually, that trade ended, and St. Croix Falls went on a scoring spree, putting up 46 points on a good defensive unit.
Northwestern ends their season at 10-2 while St. Croix Falls moved onto Round 4.
