Bob Dylan has inspired many people with his music.
Tom Page and Noah Wilcox, both who live in Cohasset, are included. The two friends worked together on a project during the pandemic.
And that project is a life-sized bronze sculpture of Dylan. They both agreed the mid 1970s Dylan was the one they wanted to capture for this piece. Page is the artist who sculpted him out of bronze.
"I’ve always said that the sculpture is not for Bob. It’s for the people that appreciate all the things that he represents. So hopefully it will continue to inspire artists," Page told us.
Wilcox financed the pandemic passion project. He added, "As successful as Bob Dylan has been in his career, he’s also been very successful at maintaining an exceptionally private life. And I think this sculpture gives opportunity to those who care about his contributions to music society and everything else. It’s an opportunity to interact in some way with the artist."
It needs a new home. And it could be yours, for the price of $60,000.
