Celebration for new Bruce Mine Headframe Park and Trailhead in Chisholm

A special moment for the new Bruce Mine Headframe Park and Trailhead on Friday.

The Chisholm Beautification Association hosted a ribbon cutting celebration.

The park honors the immigrant miners that forged Iron Range communities.

According to the CBA, the headframe was built in 1926 by the Harvester Company. The steel structure was used to take miners into the underground mine, and then haul iron ore up to rail cars.
