Darren loses the bet! Makes Tator Tot hotdish

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 onion chopped

4 tsp minced garlic

2 tsp dried thyme

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 tsp pepper

3 tbsp. all prupose flour

1 1/2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups chicken stock

1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese

1 can French style green beans drained

1 can whole corn drained

1 bag (2 lbs.) of frozen tater tots

First prepare beef filing

Add beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried thyme, and salt and pepper to a heavy bottomed pot.

Cook over medium high heat for about 25 minutes of until the liquid has evaporated.

Add flour to mixture

Add milk and chicken broth. Stir. Then wait about 3 minutes or until mixture is thickened.

Remove from heat and add grated parmesan cheese, drained green beans and drained corn.

Stir to combine and put the mixture in a 9X13 baking dish.

Bake the hotdish

Preheat oven to 450 F.

Arrange tater tots, as neat or as messy as your heart desires.

Bake until beef mixture is hot and tater tots are golden brown. Should be 35-40 minutes.
