As many as 5.4 million Twitter users may have been affected by a code vulnerability in January. It gave hackers a method of determining an account owner’s email and phone number. No passwords were compromised, and Twitter insists the problem has been patched.

LG unveiled two new sets of wireless earbuds. The noise-canceling buds offer Dolby head tracking that recalibrates the sound as you move your head. They are water-resistant. No word yet on pricing.

FitBit is discontinuing support for PC and Mac syncing by doing away with the old Connect app in mid-October. Users can still transfer data off their devices through the company’s mobile app. FitBit is also removing the option to transfer music from your computer.
