Tech Bytes: Tesla sets records

Tesla is setting some records. Elon Musk’s car company says it delivered more than 422-thousand electric vehicles in the first three months of the year. And it created nearly 441-thousand. Both those figures are new company records.
Expect fewer movies from Netflix. According to Bloomberg, the streaming service is cutting back production, and laying off some workers, in hopes of creating better quality projects. Over the past two years, netflix has released at least one movie per week.
Today is the 50th anniversary of the first cell phone call. On April 3rd, 1973, Motorola engineer Marty Cooper dialed his rival from a Manhattan street corner to announce he was calling from a portable phone, which looked like a huge brick. Cooper is now 94 and he’s set to re-enact the call today.
