Preparing for the 2024 Grandma’s Marathon

Preparing for Grandma’s Marathon 2024

Zach Schneider came in to give us an update to how things are looking for the upcoming Grandma's Marathon. He also highlighted free kids programs starting in January.

Public Relations and Marketing Manager for Grandma’s Marathon, Zach Schneider, joined us to talk about what’s to come for the 2024 Grandma’s Marathon.

Schneider notes that though the 5K and half-marathon are completely sold out, there are still around 1,400 entries left for people to register for the full-marathon. He adds that after January 1st, registration prices will increase.

He also shed light on a new program to help you train for the marathon with a group of people. He says participants will be partnered with a trainer.

“The 1st 200 people who sign up, that want to run the half marathon for the training group will get you into that race,” said Schneider.

That starts at the end of January. “It’s three group runs a week. You get a training plan that you can do at home through the process. The trainer will help you along the way to race day.”

There are also some free kids activities starting in January. For more information, visit the Grandma’s Marathon website.
