St. Francis Apartments provides 43 units of housing to single individuals, typically elderly, who have a history of homelessness and are eligible for permanent supportive housing due to factors such as age, disabilities, or underlying health conditions. 32 units are provided to those experiencing chronic homelessness and qualify for the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) project-based permanent supportive housing (PSH) subsidy vouchers.  The other 11 units are offered to those experiencing long-term homelessness who qualify for Housing with Support (HS) subsidies as per St. Louis County. The complex also provides additional resources to help residents get established in the community.
