People mark the 82nd anniversary of Pearl Harbor at the Duluth waterfront

People spent time reflecting on the attack on Pearl Harbor

On the 82nd anniversary of Pearl Harbor, people gathered for a remembrance ceremony in Duluth.

82 years ago, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, launching the United States into World War II.

On Thursday, a very mild December 7th to mark the anniversary in Duluth. A sizeable group of veterans and others gathered together to remember and honor the lives lost.

The National Remembrance Day ceremony took place at the Marine Museum.

Two sons of a Pearl Harbor survivor from Cass County helped lay the wreath into the water in the canal.

Members of the Duluth Honor Guard were part of the event.
