It’s all about fitness at Proctor with the Minnesota Wild

Getting “Wild” in Proctor over exercise

Elite players from the Minnesota Wild stopped by Bayfield Elementary and Pike Lake Elementary schools on Monday.

Things were looking a little wild today in Proctor on Monday. The Minnesota Wild stopped by Bay View Elementary and Pike Lake Elementary to talk about the importance of fitness and nutrition.

The students were asked to make a promise: “I promise the Minnesota Wild, to get at least 60 minutes of exercise a day.”

Elite hockey players and mascot at MC Rusty K spent time with the students and made it extra fun by providing thedistrict with free sets of floor hockey equipment and training posters with nutrition and fitness tips.

School resource officer Michael Bradley spearheaded the mission to bring the wild to the schools.
