Duluth Police set to host the first ever ‘Women in Law Enforcement’ open house
The Duluth Police Department is set to host the first ever ‘Women in Law Enforcement’ open house March 18th at the Public Safety Building from 1:00-4:00pm
The open house hopes to give women interested in law enforcement the opportunity to connect with women in the field including DPD women sworn officers, professional staff, and Community Service Officer-Interns.
Guests can listen to why they joined the career path and they also get to tour the Public Safety Building and squad cars.
“This open house is another way we are intentionally recruiting more of a diverse workforce,” said Chief Mike Ceynowa. “We want the community to see themselves in their police department, understanding that we are here to serve with them.”
The DPD encourages those who are interested to RSVP by emailing email@example.com no later than March 8.
