153rd Annual Duluth Chamber dinner meeting

153rd Annual Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce meeting

More then 1300 people attended Thursday night's annual chamber meeting and dinner.

This might be a mind-boggling number for some, the Duluth area chamber of commerce has been helping promote business and development in the area for more than 150-years.

On Thursday night that long and successful run was being acknowledged and celebrated at the 153rd annual Duluth chamber meeting and dinner.

Daniel Fanning, Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce Vice President spoke to us about the event saying “It’s really a celebration of the chamber membership, our community progress, but also leadership in the community. Not just from the chamber, but business owners, to our military members, from our elected officials who are stepping up and saying, you know, this is a great, thriving community. We can do even better. Let’s work together and keep making progress”

Thursday night’s chamber celebration included key note speaker, Minnesota air national guard state command chief Lisa Erikson and it also honored outstanding business leaders.

More than 13-hundred people attended the chamber dinner at the DECC.
