A prestigious title has been given to a businessman on the Iron Range. William Aho took home the “Developer of the Year 2023” award given from AmericInn by Wyndham. He is the second from the left.

Aho owns the AmericInn by Wyndham in International Falls, which opened just recently, as well as one in Virginia.

The annual award recognizes the companywide hotel developer that not only develops top quality hotels, but has contributed to the brand. Not only does Aho have the International Falls and Virginia locations, he also is the owner of other hotels.

Aho was awarded the prestigious title at the 2023 Wyndham Global Conference in Anaheim, California, in September. According to the company, the hotel also received the award for Best of the Best having one of the highest Net Promoter Score for the brand. The Net Promoter Score is a rating given by guests who were asked if they would recommend the hotel to family and friends.
