The Cloquet based company has been bringing their productions to the stage of the Encore Performing Arts Center for 15 years now. They say their shows inspires the young actors in the area to pursue the art form.

“It is shows like Charolette’s Web that bring children into the theater and then they get inspired to do theater and that always warms my heart”, says actor Abrianna Schmidt.

Charlotte’s Web also marks the first show of the company’s season.

General Manager CST, Joel Soukkala says, “Our first show of the season is typically one that we gear towards families, and ones that we get our younger audiences in the house for. Charlotte’s web has kind of been on our playlist for a while now, it’s one of the favorites.”

The cast is made up of all ages, from kids to adults. There’s even a father-daughter duo in the show. Justin and Rachel Dinger Actors are performing in the show together.

Rachel says, “It’s really fun and I know that there is always someone there who I know, and so that’s really nice to know. There’s some kids my age and some kids that are younger than me. But then there’s also people who are older than me, so it’s really fun working with all these different ages.”
