UWS baseball stings North Central in massive doubleheader sweep

The University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) baseball team stung North Central University notching back-to-back shutouts Friday to earn the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) doubleheader sweep at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
UWS toppled the Rams 10-0 in game one, then in game two scored 13 runs in the sixth inning to win 24-0. Both matches concluded in the seventh inning.
Bryce Flanagan led the Yellowjackets in game one tallying three RBI, three hits, and two runs. Jordan Trimble led in game two with six RBI, four hits, and three runs.
UWS improves to 13-15 overall and 9-4 in UMAC play. They’re set to host North Central again on Sunday at 2:30pm.
