Prep boy’s basketball: Duluth East & Northwestern claim wins, No. 8 Cherry falls
Prep boy’s basketball was in full swing Tuesday night.
No.8 Cherry who was 8-1 on the season traveled to 11-2 Nevis. As they lose their second game of the season 67-45, they will host Nashwauk-Keewatin Friday, and Cass Lake on Saturday.
Duluth East was also in action fighting to rebound from a tough loss in Park Center on Monday, as they hosted 7-3 Brainerd. Warriors Mitchell Degen would get the first bucket of the game. As the game ends in East favor 70-63.
In a Heart O’North Conference clash Northwestern hosted Ashland on Tuesday. Tigers would be able to drain multiple threes winning 105-68.
