Hermantown’s Vieau lands spot with USA Hockey in Five Nations Tournament

Heremantown’s Dallas Vieau received two USA Hockey honors on Wednesday.

In the morning the incoming junior was selected to skate in the USA Hockey Select 16 Player Development Camp All-Star Game at 9am.

Then following the match the forward was named to the 2022 U.S. Under-17 Men’s Select Team that will compete in the Athletix Under-17 Five Nations Tournament. It runs from August 9-13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Vieau is the sole Northland representative on the 20 player roster. Team USA will first battlle Germany Tuesday, Aug 9 at 8pm. For the full roster or tournament schedule, click here.

A sophomore forward last season Vieau tallied 17 goals and 12 assists helping the Hawks to a Class A state championship.
