Downtown Duluth Farmer’s market cancels dates for remainder of the season

Downtown Farmer's Market gets canceled for the remainder of this season.
The Greater Downtown Council is canceling the remaining dates of the Downtown Farmers Market due to a lack of vendors and worker shortages among other factors.
It was originally scheduled for every Tuesday 11am-1pm at the Fountain Plaza at the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street.
According to the GDC, a challenging growing season in Minnesota combined with a workforce shortage and lower downtown employee traffic made continuing the event difficult.
They hope that this event can return to the downtown in a new format next year.
