Expect hazy skies to continue into this evening as upper-level winds bring in smoke from far northwest of the region. A slowly moving cold front will move through the region tonight through Thursday, bringing shower and thunderstorm chances to the region, with showers lingering on Friday. Some of these storms may produce some small hail and gusty winds.

Warmer temperatures will return for shoreline communities as winds shift to the south. Rain looks to linger into Friday. High pressure takes over this weekend to bring plenty of sunshine and warmer weather. Saturday will be warmer than Sunday as winds won’t be off the lake. Warmer weather returns next week.
