Justin Liles: Periods of rain this week

Remember that pesky low spinning north of the international border all last week and through the weekend.  The how is still north of the border and has not moved.   Therefore, our weather this week and into the weekend will experience more of the same.  Some showers and thunderstorms possible this afternoon and tonight over portions of northwest Wisconsin and Pine County.

Some thunderstorms could be severe with damaging winds and large hail. All thunderstorms will have lightning and could have briefly gusty winds. Rain chances for the whole area don`t return then until Wednesday or Thursday when some scattered showers are possible. Tuesday will be on the drier side with moisture returning Wednesday through the end of the week.

Mostly clear, with a low around 48. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
TUESDAY
Sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
WEDNESDAY
A slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. East wind 5 to 10 mph.
THURSDAY
A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
FRIDAY
A chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
SATURDAY
A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Sunny, with a high near 76. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
SUNDAY
A slight chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
