High pressure returns today to bring in some more sunshine. Temperatures will be cooler by the lake with the winds becoming more easterly by this afternoon. Conditions will be cooler by the lake then farther inland but not by much. Most of the Northland will see high temperatures reach the upper 60s to lower 70s.

A large low to the north will continue to bring us periods of rain and thunderstorms through the weekend. Once again, some stronger storms are possible by late Sunday. There could end of being stronger storms again late Sunday into Monday. The aforementioned low will continue to sit north of the border well into the middle of next week.
