Our Wednesday features more clouds, light rain showers, and temps remaining on the cool side. Skies become mostly cloudy with showers sweeping the Northland from west to east beginning in the late morning and exiting in the evening. Highs will stay mostly in upper 60s to mid-70s. A light southeast wind keeps lakeside areas in the 60s.

Tonight will have partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows in upper 40s to mid-50s. Temps get a boost on Thursday with highs in mid-70s to low 80s. A west wind returns to spread the warmth down the hill in the Twin Ports. A west wind will continue to limit Lake Superior’s influence on temps each day through Tuesday.

A low chance for showers and thunderstorms lingers on Thursday, mostly in northern Minnesota. Scattered showers are possible Thursday night, then Friday keeps a 30% chance for isolated thunderstorms. Our Friday is otherwise warm and sweaty with highs in upper 70s to mid-80s. Temps will trend cooler from the north through the weekend on the backside of a cold front.
