UWS softball crowned UMAC champions, now head to NCAA tournament

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) Yellowjackets swept Bethany Lutheran to win the UMAC softball tournament. Winning the first game 3-0, then following that up with a 1-0 victory.
With the win the Yellowjackets received the UMAC’s automatic bid into the NCAA tournament.
Marking the second time in the last three season they are heading to the dance and fifth all time.
The tournament field was announced on Monday and the Yellowjackets will meet Concordia University Wisconsin in the opening round this Thursday.
