UWS Athletics hires Emma Peterson

The University of Wisconsin-Superior has a new member apart of its athletics department. The university was awarded one of the NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women in Sports Grants.
Through a nationwide search, Superior native Emma Peterson was chosen as the grant recipient. She is the university’s new Sports Information Specialist. Peterson is a former hockey player at Superior High School and went on to play five seasons with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire BluGolds women’s hockey team.
Peterson started her work with the athletics communications staff on Tuesday, June 18th, 2023.
