On Friday night, the University of Minnesota Duluth women’s soccer team hosted their home opener at Malosky Stadium.

The Bulldogs are just coming off a loss to Northern Michigan and a tie against Michigan Tech, looking to find the win column hosting St. Cloud State.

The Huskies tried to attack on the net but Bulldogs keeper Jennifer Norris got her gloves up and got the stop. She had nine saves in the game.

In the second half, the Huskies inked two goals; one by Jenna Dominguez and Ariel Hawkey to spoil the Bulldog’s home opener, 2-0.

The Bulldogs will hit the field looking for a win on Sunday, hosting Northern State at 1 p.m.
