South Ridge baseball shuts out Ely 11-0 to advance to Section 7A semifinals

The Section 7A baseball tournament entered its quarterfinal stage on Thursday afternoon as #1 seed South Ridge hosted #4 seed Ely.
The Panthers were already up 5-0 in the bottom of the third when Ashton Neudahl sent one a great distance to the fences allowing Austin Josephson to trot home for the six-run lead.
In the fourth the Panthers led 8-0, then with two on base for Christian Pretasky he smacked one out of the park for a three-run homer. South Ridge wins big 11-0.
