Registration open for Vikings’ Duluth camp, Mesabi Range football camp at MIB

Two football camps scheduled for the end of June in the Northland still have spots available.

On Thursday, June 22 Minnesota North College-Mesabi Range’s Pepper Lysaker Football Camp will be held at Mountain Iron-Buhl High School.

Running from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. it’s open to athletes entering seventh through 12th grade.

Tennessee Titan defensive tackle Sam Okuayinonu will be in attendance as a special guest. He attended Mesabi Range in 2018 collecting 62 tackles, 21.5 for a loss, and 17.5 sacks. He was named the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year before going on to play Division I football with the University of Maryland.

Then on Wednesday, June 28 the Minnesota Vikings are bringing their youth football camp to Duluth East High School.

The camp will run from 3-5 p.m. The non-contact camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels from ages six to 14.

Campers will be taught football techniques, skills, and receive training tips from Vikings youth coaches. Some Vikings legends will even join select camps as guest instructors. To register Click Here.
