Mesabi East’s Allie Lamppa earns 2,000th set assist

A huge milestone for Mesabi East setter Allie Lamppa was reached on Saturday. Lamppa earned her 2,000th set assist, after entering the day 18 assists away from the milestone.
Lamppa reached her 2,000th in Saturday’s volleyball tournament held at Mesabi East, which featured a handful of other local schools.
This year has been an impressive year from volleyball accomplishments all over the Northlands, with Cloquet’s Ava Carlson reaching her 1,000th kill.
Lamppa and Mesabi East are back in action on Monday against Proctor.
