McMahon, Linser drafted in Minnesota-held PWHL draft

On Monday night, Mannon McMahon and Anneke Linser became the 12th and 13th players in UMD Women’s hockey history to be drafted into the PWHL.

In the 5th round, former Bulldog captain Mannon McMahon heard her name called, as she’ll head to PWHL Ottawa.

McMahon tallied 31 points for the Bulldogs this past season, her fifth at UMD.

McMahon joins three other UMD standouts on PWHL Ottawa, those being Katerina Mrazova, Gabbie Hughes, and Ashton Bell.

In the 6th round, Anneke Linser was selected by PWHL Toronto.

She spent last season playing in Sweden, where she tallied 31 points.
