Huskies fall in a close one at home against Waterloo

After a rain delayed the Duluth Huskies and Waterloo Bucks game on Wednesday night, the Huskies went on to win 13 to 7. On Thursday night, the team looked to do it again but with a lot of sunshine. Huskies looking to sweep the two-game home series while the Bucks are trying to stop them in the mud.

The Bucks would score first off a grounder p the middle sending Michael Lippe home. They then continued to add on four more unanswered runs into the third innings.

Huskies tallied their first run in the bottom of the third as Joshua Duarte cracked one to the wall allowing Micheal Hallquist to zip home.

A few innings later, the Huskies added several more run but fall in a close one at home 12-13.
They will hit the field again on Friday at home taking on the Eau Claire Express. First pitch is set for 6:35pm.
