For the Duluth Marshall girls lacrosse team this is their first ever year as a program.

While growing pains are most certainty still present with this green team, they are getting a little boost this coming week, hosting their first ever and only home game this season.

“We are looking forward to just having more experience under our belts at that point in time. Having the girls put into action some of the things that we’ve been talking about. I hope there will be a lot of people here cheering and a lot of classmates, a lot of fans,” stated head coach Jennifer Hron.

the team will be looking for not only their first win this season, but also their first ever, when they play the Duluth Wolfpack lacrosse team Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Marshall School.

“I hope people come out and join and support us. School spirit would be really nice, but also I think it’s just nice being somewhere that you’re comfortable with and like knowing how the field works. Like being on turf with other schools we’re not used to practicing on that, so it makes it a little bit more difficult. But we’re used to being out here,” concluded junior mid-fielder Gabrielle Black.
