Duluth East girl’s swim defeats Grand Rapids in Tuesday meet

The Duluth East Girl’s swimming team was impressive in their 105-78 win against Grand Rapids on Tuesday night.
For Duluth East, Nicole Sirois and Kate Schiller were victorious in the 200 yard medley relay, while Bridget Ford won the 50 yard freestyle in just 27 seconds.
Despite Grand Rapids losing, they also showed some impressive times, those including Nevaeh Hoard in 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:11:19 and Chloe Petersen in the 200 yard IM, with a time of 2:27:65.
Duluth East meets Proctor/Hermantown on September 19th while Grand Rapids meets Hibbing on September 16th.
