CSS women’s soccer drops MIAC home opener to St. Kates

On Wednesday the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) women’s soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to St. Catherine University in Duluth.
Natalie Pfleger scored in the first half and Ari Green made it 2-0 early in the second for the Wildcats. CSS junior goalie Gracie Meagher, a Cloquet native, made six saves.
This marked CSS’ first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) home game of the season.
The Saints (0-8-1) will hunt for their first win hosting Carleton College Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
