CSS volleyball drops home, MIAC opener to Carleton

On Wednesday the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) volleyball team dropped their home opener to Carleton College 3-1. It also marked the Saints’ 2023 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opener.
The Saints took set one 25-19, but drops the following three sets 25-13, 25-11, 25-20.
CSS was led by Mikala Peterson with nine kills, Bryn Ziegler with 11 digs, and Biwabik native Lindsey Baribeau with a game-high five blocks.
CSS (2-10) next visits Augsburg University Saturday at 3 p.m.
