Grading Papa Clyde’s barbecue sauce

Papa Clydes BBQ Sauce was creating with love, bottling and selling for the past year.

It took years for Scott and Jen Larson to perfect Papa Clyde’s barbeque sauce.

Scott says the recipe start with his father, who began working on the sauce recipe as a hobby for many years, but he could ‘never get it right.’

Clyde passed away suddenly in 2017, and six years after that, they perfected the recipe, making “balanced” is with natural and simple ingredients.

After their success selling it at the Arrowhead Home and Builders Show, they began selling it across 30 locations in the Twin Ports.

Scott and Jenn both work in the Hermantown School District.
