Last week, Brigette Williams talked through the basics of building strength to do a pull-up. She says once you have mastered the TRX and assisted pull-up, you can move to a bar or pull-up machine.

Williams, of Living Balanced, suggests three exercises: Bar hangs with mini shoulder circles, working on negatives (starting at the top of the movement and working to the bottom), and doing an assisted pull up with a band or machine.
