Tee It Up: Playing a hole with BARKO

BARKO is celebrating 60 years in business, so WDIO Multimedia Marketing Specialist Kaitlin Zenner invited a BARKO employee to golf a hole as part of “Tee It Up With Zenner.”

Zenner chose Hole 18 at Ridgeview Country Club. She and Joey Cummings, a two-time UMAC Player of the Year from his time at UWS and now a BARKO employee, teed off to see who could come in under par.

Parnell Thill, a member of the BARKO marketing team, and Baihly Warfield served as caddies and even took over on the putting green.

BARKO is celebrating 60 years with a “Logger Lager” from Earth Rider and other events.

“BARKO is a manufacturing company that builds heavy duty logging equipment. We concentrate solely on forestry products with the goal of making forest work safer and more productive,” Thill said. “Loggers like to have healthy forest because that’s how they make a living.”
