Tech Bytes: Meta Quest lowers age restriction

A change in standards by Meta. The tech company is lowering the minimum age for Quest headsets to 10 years old. Parents will have to approve the creation of an account for kids under 13. Also, Meta says profiles for those children will default to private.

Google is expected to make big design change to the next generation of its flagship Pixel phones.
The Pixel 8 Pro will reportedly feature a flat display, a departure from the curved screen on the two previous Pixel Pro models. Android authority also says the new phone will have a much brighter OLED panel.

Netflix is out with the first trailer, for “Squid Game, The Challenge”. It’s a reality show based on the super popular South Korean series. The trailer hints that “Red Light, Green Light” will be part of the show. It debuts in November.
