The world’s top AI exerts are now warning of human extinction. 350 people, including CEOs,  signed a new public statement, expressing concern that artificial intelligence could wipe out humanity if it gets into the wrong hands. They say mitigating the risk should be a global priority.

Twitter is expanding its fact-checking program to include images. The change was sparked by a recent viral, and fake, post claiming to show an explosion near the pentagon. The company says users will be able to put the images or the tweet itself, in context.

Finally, Amazon is getting rid of all of its Alexa-enabled celebrity voices. Amazon says those who’ve paid to have the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Shaq or Melissa Mccarthy, can get a refund upon request. Jackson’s voice will stop working next week. Shaq and Mccarthy, in September.
