Kids are excited about the STEAM Festival!

The STEAM Festival is a FREE fun, family-friendly community event focusing on science, technology,
engineering, art, music, and math. STEAM festivals promote a lifelong interest and appreciation for
STEAM subjects. At The Depot STEAM Festival, kids will be encouraged to engage in experiments and art
projects, explore educational displays, and interact with robots in action!

Activity highlights include:
• Robot interactive demonstrations in the Great Hall the Denfeld DNA FIRST and 3-D Robotics teams
• STARBASE and PTA “STEM + Families” hands-on experiment stations and demonstrations
• Environmental science activities with 1854 Treaty Authority, WLSSD, Atlas Games, and the Extension
Master Gardeners
• Interactive wildlife focused fun with the Lake Superior Zoo
• Music and art demos and displays from the Minnesota Ballet and Duluth Superior Symphony, plus a
creative Minecraft clay art activity with the Duluth Art Institute
• Building and engineering with 4-H, Lake Superior Railroad Museum, and the Duluth Public Library
• Giveaways, demonstrations, and more!
